Damn that optimism. It keeps leading me down a road of sorrow.

Last week I wrote this: "In other words, I still like my chances."

I was pontificating about State's chances to make the tourney. Well, after losses to South Carolina and Mississippi, I no longer like State's chances to make the tourney.
