Way too long...

It's been way too long between updates.

And for that I apologize to my two loyal readers.

I thought baseball season was over, I really did.

But I was wrong. Imagine that.

I hope State does well at Clemson, perhaps they'll regain their early season form. I'm trying not to be too negative, any time a team from State makes the post season it's a good thing, but I just don't have much optimism left.

The pitching plan for the weekend is to go with Dunn on Friday and Pigott on Saturday and then see what happens. Our pitching depth is going to cost us this weekend. If we win the first game and Clemson some how loses on Friday, we should save Pigott for Sunday. In this scenario, we should do our best to get through UNC-Asheville with the rest of our staff and save Pigott for Clemson. That's our only (slim) chance to win this regional. I don't think our staff is good enough to beat Clemson twice.
