Auburn takes Two of Three

So, they lost another series.

And Bulldog nation is in temporary meltdown, divided between Polk bashers and Polk supporters.

It's hard to add much to the subject when you can't see the games, but something seems to be wrong with this club's mentality. The team needs a spark before the season is too far gone to recover.

Last week the team was ranked #10. This week...I'm guessing #20 or worse is in store.

Don't think Polk is the problem. When you can't hit with runners in scoring position (that has been the take on State since Mcmahon was here) then you need a new philosophy in hitting - that means a new hitting coach - not Tommy Raffo.

Thanks for reading and adding a comment.

If fault can be pinned on anyone on the coaching staff, does it not ultimately fall on the head coach?

I don't know if it's the approach at the plate or the quality of hitter that is being recruited or the mindset of the team in general, but something is out of whack and it's up to the head man to fix it.
